Born in Haiti and as self-taught artist with some training from the Art Students' League in New York City, Colas is knowledgeable in many artistic genres. Early in his career, Colas enjoyed painting abstract vegetation and landscapes. As his artistic approach matured, his inspiration shifted toward painting more conceptual pieces. Painting has continuously been an escape that Colas uses to truthfully express himself. Having endured a difficult and personal time in his life, he now finds solace in creating abstract surrealism artwork that symbolizes freedom, breakthroughs and new beginnings.

Wally got involved into photography in 1963 when a neighbor who was a professional decided he no longer wanted to do the lab work, developing and printing. So he hired him at two dollars an hour. So he's been into photography ever since. His first camera was a minolta which he bought in Japan while serving with the Air Force. Photography has since been a major force in his life and has been the deciding factor in where to travel and how to dress  because a camera is always part of the outfit. A few students have passed through his darkroom and gone on to successful careers.

Marty Timins, 61, trained at the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts. He has been producing pen-and-ink composites of film, TV and music stars since 1975. Publication rights to three of them--Lon Chaney, Vincent Price and Boris Karloff--were purchased by Famous Monsters of Filmland magazine and later appeared. He has done dozens of pieces on commission, most recently Natalie Wood and Marilyn Monroe. But he has kept most of his originals and added the autographs of the stars. (Paul Newman and Henry Fonda signed the originals themselves.) Mr. Timins has signed originals and lithographs produced of his existing pieces since 1980 and they are for sale. Please ask for info.

Saroska works and lives in New York for the last seven years. She is in the process of installing her ceramic and painted murals as public art thorough the city, and exhibits internationally in Madrid and New York. In Madrid she is showing her paintings at Galeria San Lucas, she is also represented by Madrid's Duran auction house where she sells her art every month
Saroska is known for her intense portraits and her introspective fluid paintings where it is difficult to differentiate the figurative from the abstract. In this exhibition the artist presents large scale paintings
(6 by 6 feet and 6 by 8 feet) to create an atmosphere in which the observer can be involved. The scenes are mysterious, uncanny shapes are diffused in aquatic and magical scenes; they are watery mysteries for the observer to decode.

Ernani Silva, from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, known worldwide for his rich, vibrant, spiritually laced works, has had a 30-year career as artist.

He was discovered in 1969 by Professor Harlan Blake and has never stopped painting since. Recycling is the solution he says, - Turning trash into treasure. Working with all the media: canvas, wood, paper, glass, zinc and other materials, he says the material itself does not matter – the most important thing is the human feeling conveyed into the material.

Ernani’s artwork is filled with vibrant colors and movements. It reflects his homeland of Brazil in its various forms – expressing all kinds of feelings and moods. Sometimes mystical or bizarre, at other times funny and satirical. Art is his passion and religion and his studio is his sanctuary.
